Sketchboarding is the art
of telling a story, using a
board. One has to see this
to believe how a simple
media like a board and
some color markers can do
for the kingdom.
The ‘preacher’ starts with a
blank sheet and creatively
illustrates a concept on the
board. Words and painted
images are used to tell a
key message from the
gospel. Passers by stop, and are definitely interested to
hear the message that follows. Sketchboarding is a great
media for arousing people’s curiosity and drawing them
into the heart and message of the Lord. We encourage
you to come and be part of this amazing ministry.
We meet at the church every 2 nd and 4 th Saturday of
the month at 6:00 pm and go out to different areas of the
city (weather permitting).
Y.A.B.S. is an acronym for Young Adult Bible Study. These
are our career college young adults that are just on fire for
the Lord. They have such a hunger for the word, missions
and soulwinning.
We meet every week for bible study, soulwinning and
fellowship around the Word of God.
We have seen this very special group of young adults
grow not only in number but in their personal walk with
our Lord.
Not only are they involved in Y.A.B.S. but in many other
parts of the church. Music ministry, construction, visitation
and they support themselves by encouraging one another
in the Lord.
On Friday evenings,
Pastor Walker leads
us in a short
devotional before
we go soul-winning.
In the winter-time we
go to the Metro
stations, or we break
into teams and go door-to-door. In the summer we also have
the opportunity to reach people in the outdoors, such as
parks. We have our church tracts with us and some Gideon
Bibles. We take a deep breath, and approach people to
tell them that God loves them and desires a personal
relationship with them. On many occasions we see one or
more people make their profession for Christ. With others,
we sow the seeds and pray and hope one day those seeds
would bear fruit. Soul-winning is just one way of fulfilling the
Great Commission, to go into all the world and make
disciples of all nations.
We meet at the church at 7:00 pm Fridays.
At Grace Ministries we endeavor to invest Godly values in
our children’s lives. We want our children to have fun in
Sunday School. We creatively teach biblical values with a
time for prayer and games. In the summer we go out to the
park across the street, where the children can play as well
as learn about Christian values.
We offer:
Junior Classes from 4–5 years old
Senior Classes – From 6-12 years old
Classes start right after the song service. This allows
parents to hear a message with full attention. We welcome
the opportunity to invest in your children's’ lives. Pst.

We hold monthly prayer meetings at the church, to bring
to the Lord the different needs experienced in the body.
A box is provided near the door where people can drop
in their request.
We meet at the church the 2nd Friday of each month at
7:30 pm.Together we enjoy a short devotional, and then
a time of prayer.

We have a group of prayer warriors dedicated in the
Emergency Prayer Chain group.

Nursery is available
every Sunday morning,
during service, for the
younger children
(0 - 3 year olds).
Our aim is to free the
parents to be able to
concentrate on the service. Our team of dedicated teachers
do a little more than baby-sitting, they have a heart for the
children and are ready to impart God's love to the children
through songs, games and stories.
Saturday evening at 7:00,
Luo Jian and Xiao Lan open
their home for a Chinese bible
study. After a time of worship,
we have teaching from God's
word, followed by a time of
prayer and question and
answers. The teaching is in
English, but is translated into
Mandarin Chinese. A lending
library of Chinese books is also made available to
them. This is a great outreach to the many new
immigrants that have come here from China to make
a better life for themselves. Here they have the
opportunity to hear about the abundant life that
Jesus offers to them and to freely learn about God's
love and plans for them without having to worry
about persecution.
We thank God for this open door into the hearts of
the Chinese people. May he continue to bind our
hearts to Him as well as to one another.

The Women's Ministry has resumed it's meetings as of
February for the winter of 2006, under the leadership of
Astrid Kazarian. We meet on the second Saturday of
each month, at the Church from 11:30am to 1:30 pm.
A light lunch is served after which we spend some time
in the study of the Word of God as brought to us by
various precious speakers.
Our vision is to equip, encourage and strengthen the
ladies through the Word of God. Our prayer is that each
one of us will be touched by Him in a more personal way
and grow spiritually. The theme of our group is 'Just as
you are Ladies Ministry'.
We encourage each body member to attend and to
participate in as many Bible study sessions as possible,
and become disciples of the word.
As God leads us, in due time, it is our desire to extend
this ministry to women outside the body, by going out
and sharing the love of our Lord Jesus Christ with the
ladies of our community.
